Letting Go of the Past
One day I found myself feeling as though I had a heavy weight on my shoulders. I was even walking slumped over when normally I have an upright posture. WHAT WAS WEIGHING ME DOWN? I finally came to the realization that I'd been holding on to something that had happened to me in the past. SOLUTION: I forgave the person who had wronged me. And as soon I did this I felt lighter, happier, and burden-free. My posture straightened and I began to smile. By forgiving the person, I helped myself. CONCLUSION: Forgiveness is not so the person can feel better, it is for YOU!
